England Cricket Team Steal Hamfatter Look

Last week I went to the first day of the cricket match between England and Pakistan. During the morning England were on awesome form and bowled Pakistan out for a record-breakingly low 72 runs. Which was very exciting.

The afternoon session was also exciting because I've never been to see England bat before but things quietened down a bit in the evening and I had time to reflect on something that's been bothering me for a while. Are the England selectors choosing their team on the basis of resemblance to Hamfatter-connected people?

Steven Finn...

chosen for his resemblance to Hamfatter trombonist, Joe Scott.

England captain, Andrew Strauss...

chosen for his resemblance to Hamfatter record-label (Pink Hedgehog) captain, Simon Felton.

Eoin Morgan (whose name, by the way, is Eoin - just like mine is)...

chosen for his resemblance to Hamfatter trumpeter, Jack Coward.

Coincidence? I think not.

  2. how cruel is Finn.? how can he shout at Raina? from his attitude we can understand that he is culture less and all Britishers are culture less.Indians do not shout at anyone in their opposition as they descent.
