Engerland, Engerland, Engerland...

Engerland, Engerland, Engerlaa-aaand.

Because I am now quite drunk I will keep this blog post short:

Suffice to say that England have just won the world cup - not the forthcoming football one which I'm not really into - rather the cricket one (world T20, in fact).

Even in England , where there has recently been a huge cricket renaissance, most people aren't very interested in cricket. Therefore, there are currently no people in my street having a big party and hugging each other like they would be with football.

I aim to do my part to re-balance the situation by painting myself with a cross of St George on the left side of my body, a Welsh dragon on the upper half of the right side of my body (because the English cricket team is actually the England and Wales cricket team) and an Irish tricolor on the lower half of the right side (because of my namesake Eoin Morgan). I will then run naked through the streets of Cambridge chanting 'Engerland, Engerland, Engerlaaaand' and laughing at people's confused faces.

My next post will be a new song, I promise. I've written one and it's a corker - I just need to get around to recording the demo.
